quotes That's awesome. I love it. This what they will teach in Texas history books, right after they teach about Jesus and his pet dinosaur.

quotes Maybe I had an easier time reading it because I am an elementary school teacher. :)

quotes I've heard this one a few times, "So...you ride a bike...down a hill? That sounds pretty easy. You don't even have to pedal." Or some other variation of that nonsense.

quotes Definitely sarcasm Draggon. Americans seem to be writing the book on the lifestyle of convenience and laziness.

quotes Love that quote from Claw. The greatest day in the history of mountain biking was..."the day you started riding one". What a cool positive message. Everybody gets a little something different out of riding, and everyone has a little different perspective on it.

quotes Maybe they are saving their energy for the intense workout they are about to put themselves through.

quotes That break is way to clean, and in the middle of the downtube. Seems like most breaks happen close to a weld. I am skeptical.

Hey man. vey interested since I'm new here. I'm from Montana but moved here from California. My DH bike is actually en route, so it may not be here before Northstar quits, but I'm always into weekend and evening rides. dawn patrol too.

P.S. on Rattlesnake: it's still a bit sloppy in the shadows. The photos I took today were of the nicer parts. It was fun overall, but I'll probably give it another week of decent weather before I ride it again. Let me know if you head out anytime and I'll try to meet you to show you around a bit.

Rattlesnake is in the southeast of Reno. The trailhead I use is pretty close to Reno Cycling and Fitness (the Trek dealer near the intersection of Longley and Double R Blvd.) From that intersection, just follow Double R toward the south and make your first left into the cluster of industrial buildings, then make a right at the first street you come across (you'll go by five or six buildings before you reach it.) Follow it all the way back 'til you come to a turnaround. I park right there and follow the jeep road that leads south back into the canyon.
